Cad/Cam Technology
CAD: Computer-Aided Design is software used to create precision drawings or technical illustrations. Cad software can be used to create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings or three-dimensional (3-D) models.
CAM: Computer-Aided Manufacturing is the use of computer-based software tools that assist engineers and machinists in manufacturing or prototyping product components.
All of our CNC (Computer Numeric Control) machines are linked to computers equipped with state of the art CAD/CAM software. We can take your drawing or emailed file, and turn it into a machinable solid model, and with the programmers machining experience and the software to create a “tool path” and then converted to g-code, which is a machine readable code, that is sent to our machines.
